Leon's Building Center is locally owned by Kerry and Larissa Schmitz. The Park River location has been a lumber yard since 1884. In 1991 Leon & Diane Schmitz purchased the former Robertson Lumber Company location and named it Leon's Building Center. In 2015 Leon and Diane retired. Their son Kerry and his wife Larissa purchased the building center and have been growing the business ever since.
