About Us: Roberson Lumber Company

Leon's Building Center is locally owned by Leon and Diane Schmitz. This Location has been a lumber yard since 1884 when it started as Roberson Lumber Company. Leon got his start in retail lumber in 1962 working as a relief manager for the company. He purchased the former Robertson Lumber Company in 1991.

In 1998 the yard received a facelift and a large display area, along with 1300 square feet of storage for windows, doors and millwork items. We specialize in the personal
touch by measuring the project you have in mind from anything below ground to the
finished project above ground and everything in between.

We deliver regularly up to a 60 mile radius of Park River.
